Abstract

The performance and failure behavior of acrylic resin/silicon steel and acrylate amino resin/silicon steel were studied. The resin coating immerging in 3.5% NaCl solution was tested by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the acrylate amino resin coating had better anticorrosion performance than the acrylic resin coating.
