Fabrication of high-density protein microarray on an EDTA-PDMS substrate by microcontact printing

摘要

In this paper, a new and facile route was developed to efficiently print protein microarrays onto hydrophobic polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate. The unique feature of this method was that protein could be easily transferred onto PDMS substrate by first physically adsorbing EDTA molecules on the PDMS surface. AFM results showed that the transferred patterns are of high fidelity and density with average width of about 500 nm and the interval of 1 μm.
