Abstract
Latest research progress in using zeolite molecular sieve materials as adsorbents and catalysts to remove chlorine-containing volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) is reviewed, with focus on removing CVOCs by zeolite adsorption, catalytic combustion over pure zeolite molecular sieve, catalytic combustion over zeolite-loaded precious metals, catalytic combustion over zeolite-supported single-component metal oxides, and catalytic combustion over zeolite-supported multi-component metal oxides. Further application of zeolite molecular sieve are expected.
