Abstract
Taking Cu(II) removal rate and flocculant yield as the target indicators,chitosan-based heavy metal trapping magnetic flocculant(MC-g-PAM) was prepared.Single factor experiments were used to investigate monomer content, total monomer concentration, photoinitiator concentration and reaction time, and the best preparation conditions for the two flocculants were determined. The best synthesis conditions were:Mass fraction of MC-g-PAM was 60%,mass fraction of total monomer was 35%,mass fraction of photoinitiator was 0.04%,and reaction time was 1.5 h.At this time, the removal rate of Cu2+ and the production yield were 83.52% and 72.94%,respectively.MC-g-PAM had good application prospect in the field of heavy metal wastewater treatment because of its excellent flocculation and chelating properties.
