Abstract

In the title salt, C7H8N3 ⁺·HSO4 ^-, the benzimdazole ring system is planar [mean deviation 0.0086 (1) Å]. In the crystal, N - H⋯O and O - H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions give rise to a layer motif.
