Abstract

A study of (C₁₃H₁₃N₂O₂)[Ni(C₄N ₂S₂)₂] with completely segregated columnar stacks of anions and cations was performed. It was observed that stacking interactions within the cation column were present between adjacent nitro groups and benzene rings. It was seen that these low-dimensional materials were associated with columnar crystallographic packing.
