Abstract

Monodisperse ternary ferrite (MFe₂O₄, M = Co, Ni, Mn, and Fe) nanocrystals have been synthesized through a facile and general route involving thermolysis of an intimately mixed binary metal-oleate complex with similar decomposition temperature of the constituents.
