Abstract

The effect of 5A zeolite molecular sieve on the single component adsorption isotherms and breakthrough curve of CO2 or CH4 is studied. The results show that 5A molecular sieve is a kind of excellent adsorption material. After 1 hour and 50 minutes' vacuum desorption, 5A molecular sieve can be desorbed, decarbonized and regenerated. Moreover, the relatively large and stable separation factor of 5A molecular sieve can be achieved even after 8 repeated experiments. When (n(CO2):(CH4)=40:60)=40:60 and continuous processing speed is 0.60 m3/(h·kg), the single tower capacity is 0.17 m3/kg and the purity of methane can reach above 97%. It provides valuable technical data for gas separation engineering in the future.
