Abstract

The process and dynamic performance of biogas upgrading with high pressure water scrubbing are analyzed. The main factors affecting the process are analyzed, including the gas/water flow-ratio, pressure, temperature, and so on. The carbon dioxide removal rate is increased by increasing the water/gas flow-ratio and the pressure, or decreasing the temperature. With carbon dioxide content less than 3%, energy saving and environmental protection as the target, the optimal process parameters are determined and automatic control system is designed. The results show that the automatic control system is stable and effective. The carbon dioxide removal rate is high.
