Abstract

This paper is concerned with the event-triggered control problem of unknown mismatched time-varying uncertainties. Three event-triggered schemes, namely, the absolute scheme, the relative scheme, and the switching scheme, are proposed to reduce the unnecessary signal transmission. A backstepping-like design approach is employed to cope with the mismatched time-varying uncertainties. Consequently, the proposed controllers could compensate for the mismatched time-varying uncertainties and ensure the closed-loop system globally bounded. The validity of the proposed schemes is shown by an illustrative example.
