Abstract

Small 2014, 10, 4362 To investigate the potential in vivo toxicity of IR825@PAH-IONP-PEG, hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining assay was introduced to study the morphology change of major organs (Figure 5e). In the originally published article the H&E images of Kidney and Lung in the control group and treated group (Figure 5e) were misused. The authors apologize for this unfortunate error in the image selection. The corrected H&E images in Figure 5e are provided below. This correction would not affect the scientific meaning of this manuscript. 5 Figure (Figure presented.) e) H&E stained slices of major organs showed no noticeable organ damage or inflammatory lesion in all major organs of mice 40 days after PTT treatment.
