Abstract
The effects of concentration and temperature of sulfuric acid and rotation rate of specimens on the corrosion rates of ND steel, 316L stainless steel and 20# carbon steel in sulfuric acid were studied using weight loss testing method. The corrosion rates of the three materials were higher in lower concentrations and lower in higher concentrations, and increased with the increase in bath temperature of solutions and rotation rate of the specimens. The decreasing order of the corrosion rate in sulfuric acid was 316L stainless steel≫20# carbon steel>ND steel.
