Abstract

A novel organic amine templated europium sulfate [(C₂NH ₈)₉][Eu₅(SO₄)₁₂] ·2H₂O 1 has been synthesized using a small organic amine (dimethylamine) as a structural directing agent (SDA). Crystal structural analysis indicates that the inorganic framework of 1 contains two kinds of extra-large 20MR channels.
