Abstract

CeO 2 modified CoMo/Al 2O 3 catalysts are prepared by impregnation method. The influence of the amount of CeO 2 on the activities of hydrodesulfurization of CoMo-Ox/Al 2O 3 catalyst is investigated. The modified catalysts are characterized by XRD and BET. The results show that the introduction of CeO 2 to CoMo/Al 2O 3 by impregnation method increases the surface area, pore volume and pore diameter of catalysts, which greatly improve the HDS catalytic activity of the catalysts. At the same time, the modified catalysts exhibit good selectivity and stability after 1000 hours' tests.
