Abstract

Induction motor full order flux observer, with the motor itself as the reference model, observes the flux and stator current by constructing state equations. It outputs the stator current and introduces the error between actual and observed current as the feedback correction, whose feedback matrix can be designed to improve the performance. The feedback matrix design method of full order flux observer was based on the switching of flux model and dynamic characteristics of speed identification. Observer characteristic function characterizes the smoothness degree of full order observer model switching from current model to voltage model. And full order flux observer were divided into speed identification system and flux observation system in two-time scale. Based on them, analysis was made of the influence of feedback matrix on full order observer characteristics function and speed identification performance. A kind of feedback matrix design was thus proposed, improving the smooth switching and dynamic characteristics of speed identification. Simulation and experiments verify the validity of analysis method and the feasibility of proposed strategy.
