Abstract

The hydration degree of fly ash in blended cement-fly ash paste was estimated by selective dissolution. The effect of curing temperature, curing time, water-cement ratio(mw/mc), water of external sources on the hydration degree of fly ash in blended cement-fly ash paste was discussed. The results show that the rate of hydration is improved by the raise of curing temperature. The hydration degree of fly ash does not have a remarkable increase after 1-2 months at certain curing temperature and mw/mc. The mw/mc determines the maximum degree of hydration of fly ash, higher mw/mc is benefit for the hydration of fly ash. However, the external supply of water cannot supply an extra hydration for the late stage.
