Abstract

SPT (small punch test) technology draws more and more attention in recent years due to its convenience and micro size of specimen compared to the traditional material tests. This paper introduces the applications of SPT technology to evaluate hydrogen embrittlement, ductile-brittle transition temperature, creep damage and life of material. The factors which may influence the results of finite element analysis are also presented.
