Mathematical simulation of coating process of asymmetrical tubular ceramic ultrafiltration membrane

Abstract

A model is derived for describing the capillary filtration process of asymmetrical tubular ceramic ultrafiltration membranes from the filtration and capillary function theory. Methods for measuring parameters in this model are proposed and used. The good consistency between simulated results and measured ones show that the model has a high reliability and practical values.
