Abstract
Suppressing the shuttle effect of polysulfides is crucial for enhancing the cyling performance of magnesium-sulfur (Mg-S) batteries. In this study, we developed a functional separator using porphyrin organic framework (POF) microspheres to enhance the electrochemical stability. The Mg-S batteries with the modified separator delivered an initial discharge capacity of 560 mAh/g and retained a reversible capacity of 296 mAh/g after 50 cycles.
