Abstract
Aluminum and Zinc Oxide (ZAO) powders were prepared by coprecipitation method. The effect of pH value, calcination temperature and Al3+ doping content on the infrared emissivity of ZAO powders was studied. The morphologies, microstructure and infrared emissivity of the obtained ZAO nanoparticles were characterized by DSC-TG, XRD, SEM and emissivity measurement respectively. It was shown that the ZAO powders with the lowest infrared emissivity were obtained when pH value was 8.5, calcination temperature was 650°Cand Al3+ doping content was 6%. The obtained powders were hexagonal system. The shape of lowest infrared emissivity ZAO powders was clavule and cluster.
