Research of an internet-based rapid response system for heat exchanger types

Abstract

A study on the computer-aided type-selecting for heat exchangers was conducted based on Web and database technologies, and the rapid response system for heat exchanger types which is based on the Brower/Server model was developed. The main framework of the system, key technologies used and databases related were introduced respectively. The features of the system based on Internet were further analyzed. The preliminary application showed the Internet-based type-selecting system possessed high flexibility and significantly shortens the type-selecting period.
