Abstract
The catalysts of nano complex Ce-Cu-K oxide loaded in the Y-Type zeolite were prepared by soak-citrate sol gel method, and its catalytic performance on oxidation of HCl was studied. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption desorption isotherms and UV-Vis. The anti-crushing strength of catalyst particles was also determined. The results show that the active components in the zeolite form the crystal nano grains with 20~25 nm diameter and a shell structure of nano complex with apparent grain gap when the loading is up to 24.9%. The nano composites layer is thickened with increasing of active components loading in the zeolite. The conversion ratio of HCl reaches 85% which is close to the equilibrium conversion ratio when the active component loading in the prepared catalyst is 28.8%. The conversion ratio of HCl is 80% and the radial anti-crushing strength of catalysts particles reaches 107 N · cm-1 when 11% of silica gel is added into the catalyst and it could meet the requirements of strength and activity for the industrial catalyst of HCl oxidation.
