Abstract

Boron is a very important strategic resource. Along with the utilization of boron resources and the development of boron, serious pollution and waste which are detrimental to sustainable economic development are caused. Therefore, the methods to extracting and recycling boron from the environment attract more attention. In this paper, basic properties of boron solution is introduced. The methods to extracting and separating boron from boron solution or removing boron from boron waste water using boron adsorption resin are discussed. The development of boron adsorption resin is reviewed. The performance and status quo of various types of boron adsorption resins are introduced as well.
