Abstract
Latest studies on adsorption separation via π-complexation were presented. Basic theory of π-complexation was described. Common preparation technologies of solid π-complexation adsorbents were given. Deactivation behaviors of π-complexation adsorbents were studied. Applications of π-complexation adsorbents for several difficult separation processes, i.e., CO recovery, olefin-paraffin separation, aromatics-aliphatics separation, desulfurization of transportation fuels, and removal of dienes from olefins were examined.
