Robust H Filtering for Uncertain Semi-Markov Jump Systems and Its Application

Abstract

This paper studies the robust H filtering problem for a class of continuous-time uncertain semi-Markov jump systems. Considering that the filter modes can be obtained via observing system modes, a semi-Markov mode-dependent filter is designed. Based on the constructed filter, the robust H filtering performance analysis is proposed by minimizing the H level for uncertain semi-Markov jump systems. Meanwhile, the sufficient conditions for existence of the designed filter are given with the help of linear matrix inequality method. The simulation results for a possible application are presented to ensure the effectiveness of the proposed method.
