Abstract

Simulation studies were carried out on how the consequence of LNG leakage accidents will be influenced by atmospheric stability, relative humidity of the atmosphere, and surface roughness. The extent of the consequence increased with the rising level of atmosphere stability. The results would be helpful for operators to store, transport, and use LNG in a safe way, and control the effects of LNG leakage accidents.
