N2 - MFI zeolite-based membranes have demonstrated great potential in various areas such as molecular separation, catalysis, reactors, and batteries. However, their broad application is hampered by insufficient stability. Over the last few decades, the stability of MFI zeolite-based membranes is appearing a very hot topic that attracts a huge surge of interest. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of considerations associated with the stability of MFI zeolite-based membranes. The mechanisms for insufficient stability, including hydrophilic/hydrophobic property, substrate effect, and strategies such as element regulation, post-synthetic modification to enhance stability of MFI zeolite-based membranes will be discussed associated with typical application systems. Finally, we will highlight the potential opportunities and challenges associated with the stability of MFI zeolite-based membranes.
