Abstract
Effect of three kinds of lithium compounds on ASR expansion of zeolitization pearlite-cement mortars was systematically investigated. The long-term effectiveness of lithium compounds on inhibiting ASR expansion was tested, and the relationship between molar rate of n(Li)/n(Na) and the alkali contents in systems was established. The results show that the lithium compounds have long term effectiveness on inhibiting ASR expansion, and the inhibiting effects of lithium compounds on expansion of zeolitization pearlite mortar decrease according to the subsequence of LiF, LiOH and Li2CO3. The governing mechanism of such effects was also discussed briefly.
