Abstract

Buried natural gas pipelines in using process, due to external influence, corrosion and material defects, such as pipeline failure, threaten people's life and property safety and the environment. According to the characteristics of the buried natural gas pipelines, gas pipelines failure fault tree model is established; The minimal cut sets and minimal path sets are found out by the analysis of pipelines failure fault tree, based on which countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for preventing accidents of the buried natural gas pipelines; Then the application methods of the fault tree model in industrial enterprise or urban buried gas pipelines risk assessment are discussed and suggestions are put forward for the application and popularization of the fault tree analysis model.
