Abstract
The influence of gypsum on the forming of the early hydrated product of new white alinite cement added with gypsum was studied by means of DTA, XRD and SEM. The results show that gypsum can accelerate the formation of the main early hydrated products and enhance the strength of hardened paste. The main early hydrated products of this kind of cement are C-S-H gel, Ca(OH)2, and a spot of C3A·3CaSO4·32H2O and C3A·CaCl2·H10.
