The Model of Deflagration of LPG in Closed Vessel

Abstract

The overpressure safety design of LPG vessel is important when LPG deflagration happened in vessel. In this paper the model of deflagration of LPG in closed vessel is proposed according to the process of the ignition and laminar flame spread of the mixture of LPG and air in closed vessel, and the VB5.0 program is used to calculate the model. The results of simulation show good agreement with the experimental results. This model can be used to simulate the process of deflagration of LPG in closed vessel.
