Abstract
An organic-inorganic hybrid solid material (C4N 3H16)2{[VIV14V V4O42(H2O)][Ni(C4N 3H13)(C4N3H14)] 4(H2O)6}[HVIV14V V4O42(PO4)] 1 which is constructed from a novel nanosized calix-type polyoxovanadate {[VIV 14VV4O42(H2O)][Ni(C 4N3H13)(C4N3H 14)]4(H2O)6}4+ cation and a hexa-capping Keggin structural anion [HVIV14V V4O42(PO4)]10- has been synthesized. Structural analysis indicates the nanosized calix-type V-O-Ni cluster cation is filled with six water molecules.
