摘要
Structural strength of two types of bars-and-pipes combined brace discs of large scale rotary dryer were analyzed with finite element method and both strength performance and safety allowance of the two type brace discs met relevant standard requirements. The stress distribution of the two brace discs was compared and the superiority of disc with pipe steel as inner ring support and bar steel as outer ring support has been proved. The influence of the outer diameter ratio of bars and pipes on the structural strength of the combined brace disc has been discussed. The results show that the disc structural stress decreases with the diameter ratio increasing and the dangerous section gradually transfers from the joint of the disc and bar to the joint of the disc and the pipe.The analysis results can be a reference for design of combined brace disk structure.
