摘要
This paper presents a new type of anti-collision device, which overcomes the drawbacks of conventional passive anti-collision device, such as large volume, high costs, challcnging maintenance, and limited collision forcc absorbing capacity. The device consists of multiple fiber reinforced polymer (FRP)winding tubes that are densely filled with low-density granules, and the tubes are assembled into an integrity and circle around the pier to resist vessel collision. Impact test and finite element modeling were conducted to examine the anti-collision performance of the proposed anti-collision device and select the proper parameters. Specimens with FRP tubes winding at angles of +45° and +75° were prepared for the impact tests, and the winding angles and tube wall thickness were analyzed. It is shown that the finite element modeling agrees well with the test results, the anti-collision device with FRP tubes winding at angles of +75° is more sensitive to shear failure, compared with those winding at angles of +45°. Whcn the tubes have a wall thickness of 4 mm and wind at angles of +45°, the reduction rate of impact pcak reaches 55. 82% at an impact height of 6. 0 m, achieving the optimal anti-collision effect.
