Adsorption heat of composite adsorbents for adsorption refrigeration

摘要

Simplified model was concluded for calculating adsorption heat by one adsorption isotherm and the latent heat of vaporization of the same adsorbate. Adsorption heat of self-prepared composite adsorbents, 13X molecular sieve, silica gel and activated carbon for water or alcohol was calculated. Relationship of adsorption heat and adsorption capacity of various adsorption working pairs was fitted, and the fitting equations were gained. The results show that: at the condition of the same adsorption capacity, integral adsorption heat of water on composite adsorbents is 11% - 17% lower than on 13X molecular sieve and integral adsorption heat of alcohol on composite adsorbents is 23% - 27% lower than on activated carbon. This research provides a simplified algorithm of calculating adsorption heat for structure design of adsorption refrigeration system.
