摘要

Global concern over increasing emissions of greenhouse gases has highlighted a requirement for the conversion and utilization of carbon dioxide and methane. This review described a new class of methane dry reforming catalysts, mesoporous material supported nickel catalysts, which can be used as a promising group of high-activity, stable catalysts. The emphasis is on the mechanistic aspects of activity improvement and/or catalyst deactivation. Three different mesoporous materials, MCM-41, SBA-15, and TUD-1 were attempted. Nickel was introduced by three different methods, direct hydrothermal incorporation, conventional wet impregnation and post-synthesis grafting. The modification effect of Pt was also investigated. Methods for improving the activity of nickel catalysts by the hydrothermal synthesis, second metal incorporation, Pt introduction, Ni grafting, by using mesoporous supports of minor structural difference or different dimension were also discussed.
