摘要
The study of the corrosion behavior of 310S stainless steel (06Cr25Ni20) in liquid Sn is of great significance for selecting structural materials for the next-generation Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) systems. This article investigates the effects of saturated and low oxygen environments on the corrosion behavior of 310S stainless steel in liquid Sn at 700 °C. The characterization of corrosion over time in these two environments is conducted through microstructural observations. The results indicate that corrosion under saturated oxygen environment primarily occurs through oxidation and dissolution, while under low oxygen environment, it is predominantly driven by dissolution. Different corrosion mechanisms result in different corrosion rates, and the corrosion mechanism models are proposed. The formation of a dense and thick Cr-rich layer can effectively protect the base metal.
