Development of epichlorophydrin production from glycerol

The use of epichlorophydrin and its production technique were simply summarized. Aiming at the current situation that the supply of the glycerol exceeded demand, which was the by-product in biodiesel production, the general situation of epichlorohydrin preparation with cheap glycerol as a material at home and abroad was introduced. The budget of the route was made, and the results indicated that the route for epichlorophydrin production from glycerol had much better market competitiveness.
