摘要

Based on the plasticity theory, the domino effect risk caused by fragments was investigated under the protective layer of polyvinylchloride (PVC) resin. The process of impacting and penetrating the protective layer and the target from the fragments was explored. The effects of various calculation parameters on the thickness of the PVC resin protective layer revealed that if the domino effect risk caused by fragments was reduced to the same level, the thicker protective layer would be attached to the target in the direction of the major axis of the source of horizontal cylindrical vessel, the target in the closer distance, the target when the sources of different degrees of filling existed, and the target of the larger volume. Finally, as the methodology and principle for designing the thickness of the protective layer, the expression of the final thickness of the PVC resin protective layer was proposed.
