摘要
The performance of a sepiolite-derived carbon as an anode material with different surface area characteristics was evaluated using LiNi 0.8Co 0.05Al 0.05O 2 as the positive electrode material in lithium ion batteries. The specific capacity respect to the active cathode mass was 160 mAh/g for the first charge half cycle. The capacity of the same cathode in a half cell was 170 mAh/g, which indicates the ability of the sepiolite-derived carbon to cycle efficiently. Complementary in situ 7Li NMR measurements were performed on the anode material and on the whole cell to assist in the assignment of the lithium signals.
