N2 - In this paper, we focused on solubility and solution thermodynamics of 3-amino-1-adamantanol. By gravimetric method, the solubility of 3-amino-1-adamantanol was measured in H2O, ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, n-butanol, tetrahydrofuran and (H2O + ethanol) binary solvent mixtures from 278.15 K to 328.15 K under atmosphere pressure. The solubility data of all solvent were fitted using modified Apelblat model and Buchowski-Ksiazaczak λh model. The solubility data of (H2O + ethanol) binary solvent mixtures were fitted using the two of the combined nearly ideal binary solvent/Redlich-Kister (CNIBS/R-K) model and Jouyban-Acree model. Computational results showed that the Apelblat equation provides a superior correlation in the pure solvent systems or the mixed solvent systems with a given initial composition. In addition, the thermodynamic properties of the solution process, including the Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy were calculated by the van't Hoff analysis.
