Graphene-Based Membranes for Pervaporation

摘要

This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the progress of graphene-based membranes (laminar GO membranes) for pervaporation. At first, the molecular transport mechanism through the confined 2D nanochannels in GO membranes is introduced. Then, we discuss the main strategies for membrane structure manipulation (including controlling self-assembly condition, designing graphene oxide-framework membrane, assembly with polymers, intercalating nanomaterials, and tuning surface structure) and the corresponding structure-performance relationships. Finally, the perspectives of current challenges and future directions are proposed.
