Hydriding combustion synthesis of hydrogen storage alloy of Mg2NiH4 and its reaction mechanism

摘要

Hydrogen storage alloy of Mg2NiH4 can be produced by the process of hydriding combustion synthesis directly from the compact of magnesium and nickel powder mixture. Compared with the conventional ingot process, this process has many advantages such as saving energy, saving time and using simple equipment. In this paper, the process of hydriding combustion synthesis of Mg2NiH4 and its reaction mechanism were introduced.
