摘要
The formation and strength of Portland cement clinker containing calcium sulphoaluminate (C4A3S̄, C=CaO, A=Al2O3, S̄=SO42-), which was synthesized with industrial reagents as raw materials, were studied. The process of mineral formation was analyzed by X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimetry. The influence of ZnO on the properties of clinker and solid solutions were discussed. The results show that tricalcium silicate (C3S, S=SiO2) and calcium sulphoaluminate (C4A3S̄) minerals can form and coexist in clinkers sintered at low temperature by the addition of ZnO to the raw material, and increase the strength of Portland cement clinker containing C4A3S̄. The decomposition temperature of C4A3S̄ can be lowered by the addition of excessive ZnO into the raw materials.
