Morphology control of metal oxides for environmental sensors

摘要

FTO (SnO2: F) substrates were immersed in aqueous solutions to cover with TiO2 films. They were assembly of nano-acicular crystals of anatase phase. The crystals were stood perpendicular to the substrates to grow along c-axis. Surface of the films had nano-sized relief structure. Dye adsorption property of the films was higher than that of poly-crystal films consisted of TiO2 nano-particles (P25). The films were suitable for environmental sensors and dye-sensitized solar cells.
