Novel triazine derivatives with D-A architecture: Synthesis, structure, photophysical properties and application in LEDs

摘要

Two triazine derivatives (H1 and H2) were designed and synthesized. The structures of the target products were identified using 1H NMR,13C NMR, MS, IR and crystal data. Both the compounds H1 and H2 show obvious high solvent discoloration behavior, high quantum yields, and mechanochromic stimuli-responsive properties. It is noting that H1 and H2 exhibit “on–off-on” optical switch behavior because of the combined action of aggregation-induced emission and twisted intramolecular charge transfer. The mechanochromic properties of H1 and H2 were also investigated systematically using fluorescence emission, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Density functional theory calculations explained the obvious solvent discoloration behavior. In addition, we fabricated four light-emitting diode devices using H1 and H2. Each device showed a different luminous color, and the yellow color purity of H1d and H2h were 84.6 % and 91.9 %.
