摘要
To investigate the mechanism of higher explosion strength and characteristic of flame and pressure transmission in linked vessels, mathematical model of gas explosion in linked vessel was built based on equations of hydrodynamics and chemical reaction dynamics, k-ε model and EBU-Arrhenius model. CFD software Fluent 6. 1 was used to make numerical analysis of gas explosion in linked vessels. The characteristics of flame and pressure transmission and gas flow in linked vessels were obtained which could describe the dynamics of gas explosion in such vessels. The simulation results can clearly reflect the whole gas explosion process in the vessels, which shows that flame speed is accelerated in the vessels through the whole explosion process. Compression and backflow of gas and jet flame are major reasons that cause higher explosion pressure and rate of pressure rise.
