摘要
In this paper, a series of Dy3+:Y3Al5O12 luminescent materials with different concentrations were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel combustion method. The dependence of the host's crystal structure and charge-to-radius of Re3+ (Z/r) on the intensity of emission of Dy3+ have been investigated. The results obtained indicate that the strongest excitation peak is at 353 nm corresponding to the 6H15/2→6P7/2 transition of Dy3+. In crystalline YAG, the Dy3+ ions occupy the Y3+ sites whose point symmetry is D2 with an inversion center, so the maximum emission peak is 481 nm (blue luminescence). The yellow-to-blue intensity ratio (Y/B) depended on the concentration of Dy3+ lessly.
