Preparation of PSAF-PD composite coagulant and its application in papermaking wastewater

摘要

The coagulant stability and performance of a novel double machine coagulant polyaluminum silicate iron-polydimethyldiallylammonium chloride (PSAF-PD) is studied by using single factor analysis method. Then the Box-Behnken Design (BBD) mathematical model is used to optimize the preparation conditions of PSAF-PD. The influence of the conditions on the response value is: n(Al):n(Fe)>ω(PD)>T. The optimum preparation conditions are: 2.33 of n(Al):n(Fe), 0.44% of ω(PD) and 41.12℃ of reaction temperature. The removal rate of COD, chromaticity, turbidity, UV254 from papermaking wastewater are 78.88%, 92.06%, 96.07% and 79.12%, respectively, by using 0.8 mL/mL of PSAF-PD as coagulation agent. In comparison with the commercial PSAF, PSAF-PD exhibits higher coagulation efficiency.
