摘要
Titanium dioxide fibers (TiO2) were prepared from K2Ti4O9 fiber precursors by ion-exchange reaction in hydrochloric acid. The photocatalytic reactivity of titanium dioxide fibers was studied with helianthin B as a model compound of waste water and the property of suspension-sedimentation at different pH values was studied. The results show that TiO2 fibers have good photocatalysis properties equivalent to the commercial micron-size TiO2. Furthermore, the serious agglomeration appears at pH = 6. 0 and can be easily separated from solution.
